Kentwood City's Denver Real Estate Agents
Jim Theye - Managing Broker / Owner
Jim is one of the founding partners and has been the Managing Broker for the Kentwood City Properties office since its inception. He knows Denver's market, and actively lists and sells real estate in addition to his management activities. Jim enjoys working with a broad spectrum of clients, including buyers and sellers throughout the central Denver marketplace. Jim also lists and sells new construction infill projects, and has participated in project sales efforts at the Flour Mill Lofts, Ajax Lofts, The Rapids, and Wynkoop Residences projects. His areas of expertise include the LoDo, Uptown, Congress Park, City Park, and Central Platte Valley neighborhoods.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Arizona, and worked throughout the western U.S. as an exploration Geologist for nearly two decades before partnering in Kentwood City Properties. He comments that, like his geology work, real estate requires strict attention to detail, creative negotiations, and the ability to foster effective communication. He claims that it has been an easy transition, and a lot more fun in real estate.
Jim is pleased to contribute to the success and synergy of Kentwood City Properties, which he describes as a remarkably diverse, fun, and successful group of Broker Associate professionals. He enjoys setting the tone for the office as a steady and calm professional, committed to assisting each client with creative solutions backed up by their position as a market leader. He is proud of Kentwood's industry-leading print and internet marketing presence, and works continuously to bring the best marketing options available to the benefit of every client.
Jim enjoys living and working in downtown Denver, and is active in various downtown community organizations. He is Past President of the LoDo District, Inc. and coordinates their LoDo Cares efforts. Jim is on the board of other non-profit organizations and tends toward those efforts which involve service to the community.
Jim and his wife, Dee Chirafisi, were the first residents of the Flour Mill Lofts following the building's renovation in 1998. They have lived in many of central Denver's neighborhoods. Their current generation of bird dogs includes Jack, a silky Gordon Setter and Indie, a free-thinking Cocker Spaniel. You will find them all jogging daily throughout LoDo and along the Cherry Creek and Platte River bike paths.
