The Cherry Creek Trail runs along Cherry Creek north and south through Parker. Popular uses include cycling, hiking, nature walks, and cross-country skiing. The Rueter-Hess Reservoir is located west of town and provides a variety of activities including fishing, hiking, and non-motorized boating. In addition, the Parker area showcases a variety of championship golf courses and residents are just minutes away from Castlewood Canyon State Park, a pristine wilderness area showcasing a dramatic canyon, towering pine trees, majestic views, and abundant wildlife.
